How long will repairs take?
Avondale's estimators and technicians will work with you to ensure that your experience is managed professionally from the day you drop off your vehicle to the day you take delivery. We'll do our best to give you an accurate estimate of how long the repairs will require. Sometimes, however, delays might happen due to insurance providers and their estimation process, access to certified/replacement parts, amount of damage, and amount of claims made to our repair center.Â
Will my car be the same?
Absolutely! Your car will drive the same, feel the same and look the same as it did prior to damage.
What do I do if a part is on back order?Â
Given our access to parts nationwide, this doesn't happen very often. When a part is on back order it could be related to availability or production status. If the part is obsolete or delayed, we'll source inventory with other retailers. If we're unable to source the part or it's a rarity item, an order can be placed with the Original Equipment Manufacturer to re-start production.
What type of warranty does Avondale offer?
We proudly provide a lifetime warranty on paint and workmanship for every vehicle we repair.
Why are supplemental repairs needed after an estimate is complete?
In order to obtain approval from the insurance company on an estimate, we must preserve the vehicle in the state in which it arrived at our facility. After approval, our technicians begin to disassemble the vehicle. At this point, it's likely that we'll find additional damage to parts not visible during the initial estimate. We must then schedule another estimate review with the insurance company to obtain further approval before proceeding. Depending on the depth of the damage, this process may need to be repeated several times.
Why do estimate prices vary between repair facilities?
There are several possible reasons for this. First, not all body shops use factory-certified parts. When repairing a luxury vehicle, it's imperative that no unauthorized manufacturer parts be used in the repair or the manufacturer warranties could be voided. Second, our body shop has been certified to work on your vehicle because of the factory tools, equipment and training we provide our technicians. While this involves additional expense, we'd never consider operating any other way. If you have any questions about the estimation process or your repair quotation, please consult with your estimator - they're there to serve you.
Are you able to coordinate all aspects of vehicle repair with my insurance company?
Yes. However, please understand that we may require your assistance in encouraging your insurance company to work with us in a timely manner and being responsible for the final payment. While we certainly don't require payment up-front, payment from you or your insurance company is due when picking up your repaired vehicle.
